Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) Studies
Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) is used to detect real-time biomolecular interactions.

Surface plasmon resonance is the resonant oscillation of the transmission light at the interface between the incoming light and the negative and positive transmittance material. SPR is the basis of many standard tools for measuring the adsorption of the material to planar metal surfaces or to the surface of metal nanoparticles.

Today, surface plasmon resonance is widely used in the creation of chemical and biological sensors (biosensors). The plasmon effects associated with biological objects (DNA, viruses and antibodies) and the intensity of fluorescent signals help better identify and diagnose biological objects.
